CTRM Partners was founded by Richard Martinez to do two things most firms keep separate: implement and run commodity trading systems, and build the intelligence that sits on top of them.
Founder
Richard Martinez
Nearly twenty years in commodity trading and risk management technology, on the software side and the client side, implementing, upgrading and troubleshooting RightAngle and OpenLink Endur for energy companies, with a front-office and risk focus: position, P&L, VaR, hedging and trading operations across crude, refined products, NGLs and gas.
He completed the UT Austin McCombs Post Graduate Program in AI for Leaders in 2026, and ARC, CTRM Partners’ arbitrage and routing console, is where that training met the CTRM work. He is a U.S. Army veteran.
CTRM Partners Inc. is based in The Woodlands, Texas, north of Houston.
